![]() More spur gear options down the road I see. Nice that you went 4 bolt instead of 3 like the Maxx RRP slipper kits use.

![]() Clayton what is the advantage of having a locked spur gear hub I,m guessing this is for sand use? As on high traction surfaces would you not want to spread the torque between both front and rear!

![]() Wayne, This is only a hub which will replace the spur gear section of the diff. There will be a huge number of gearing options available without opening up the diff. Gear changes will also be able to be made without moving the engine.

![]() Diff is the same.. We don't have it charted yet but I think there should be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 25 different available gear options for fine tuning to the track. Any given 5 with the engine untouched then 5 different options within each engine adjustment. For those that race this means they should be able to pick the sweet spot then go up and down 2 gears without changing engine position which also means not needing to re-adjust the throttle linkage any pipe mount adjustments that may need to be done.

![]() Often we draw things and never produce them.. I thought I would post up a little something we have been working on that I don't see hitting the market due to the cost of production. I thought some would like to see what types of things we do that never leave the drawing board. HPI Baja Clutch carrier unit with 12mm hex drive Vented Clutch Bell. ![]() Cheers, Last edited by Vertigo Performance; 06-07-2012 at 09:34 PM.

![]() We are working on them.. We want to do something new to differentiate from the others on the market and our previous designs. It's taking time to work the bugs out and possibly we may have to end up going back to our Baja design configured for the Losi.

| ![]() At vertigo performance if we aren't the first to bring a product to the market we take our time to improve upon what is already available. This sneak peak photo is all you get for now... We are still refining our Extended hubs in order to bring the best product to you, our customers. vertigo performance hubs add 16mm mm overall track to the Losi 5ive for those running stock wheels and tyres (Body clearance will need to be considered) - Hubs retain stock track for those wanting to use HPI Baja rims and tyres on your Losi 5ive. - Adds 8mm overall track to your HPI Baja, Redcat Rampage TT/MT/ Dunerunner and certain models in the MCD line up to offer greater tuning options.. - Retainers to insure the rings on the Baja rims won't fall off during a race. Part #100620 Extended Hubs are compatible with the Losi 5ive, HPI Baja, Redcat Rampage TT/MT/Dunerunner and some MCD models.
