Default New Body for Losi by Stealth RC

Team Stealth RC is proud to introduce new Mad-Max body for Losi 5ive T .
It came to us local racers and bashers as a idea and need to develop a inexpensive but still durable body for Losi 5ive T .
It started as a prototype, testing stage and now after couple months a ready product .

Body is made out of durable shatter resistant plastics. Body was made for racers and bashers and was thoroughly tested by our race/bash crew several hours on race tracks .

Material is very tough and shatter/crack resistant. Value and durability were important to us after destroying several 5ive stock bodies.

Main Stealth RC MadMax body features are:

- Material thickness - 1.8mm
- Roof reinforcement 3/4" protective scoop to minimize and absorb impacts.
- Hood reinforcement 3/4" channel for additional protection against impacts.
- Hood extra high and wide fenders for protection and to minimize tires rubbing.

- Door panels with windows and 8 mounting points to reduce side impacts like T-bone car to car or rollovers.

- Bigger and higher rear quarter wings for more rear and cage protection.

- Set of heavy duty oversize body mount washers for better body support and to reduce damage at mounting points while getting hit by other car, landing on side, roof etc.

Body comes in Stealth Gun Metal color, trimmed ready to fit, mounting points are predrilled. This body kit comes with Hood, Roof ,left and right door panels , 2 rear quarter wings, and 16 oversized under body mount washers , 4 oversized window mounts and a set of stickers.

Stealth Racing MadMax body was tested for several hours on race track , we managed to do visible damage like scrapes to the roof and hood reinforcement channels/scoops. Body did not crack anywhere , however we did some damage to the : cage, front bumper , pipe bracket and spark plug wire stripped.

I`m attaching couple pictures with ideas how you can paint the body for race like our visible colors racing body orange and blue , or just simply keep it Stealthy looking MadMax like mine for fun bash days.

For those who don`t like to paint , we have a Vinyl kit in 5 colors for StealthRC MadMax body.
Vinyl kit is still at testing stage however we offer it as an option to first 5ive buyers for half price… until we have the right thickness and adhesive type.

Price for complete body kit with stickers for forum members is 89$ , Shipping is 10$ which is less then actual cost of packing supplies and priority mail . Vinyl kit will be 29$ shipped(when we are done with testing) . Colors of vinyl are :Blue , Light Blue ,Red , Lime Green,Fluorescent Yellow, and darker DeWalt like yellow.
Pm me if you want to buy one for Paypal info.

I`m part of Stealth RC Team and I`ll be representing Stealth RC products on the forums Thank you for looking Mike -Stealth RC.

What about rear fenders??
Do you have any plans to come out with rear fenders because I've read some tracks have rules on your rig needing fenders at the start of race day.

I think the idea behind this body was to use it as a daily basher and racers would have another type of body for race events.

I like it. Personally its gettin old spending a fortune on a body, only to get trashed in 3 months racing.

Wouldn't take much for a guy to build a set of rear fenders if its needed.

Thanks guys.
Like i stated in first post our goal for the body was to be durable and easy on your wallet. So it`s an option for some to have a durable non expensive body.

Rear fenders - yes we working on them , we
have 2 design to choose from.

And when it comes to thrashing bodies on local tracks we have some specialists in this area too and it does not take a month sometime and body is gone.

I`ll post some pics today with vinyl installed and Stealth RC stickers should be ready tomorrow.

This body is ugly as f**k, but I like that! If this turns out to be as durable as you claim, this would be a good buy for $100.

Any plans to come out with a clear set? I would much prefer that.

Holly crap, I thought I found the body I was going to race at the Nationals next month..... For around $100 it's not a bad buy, I want to see rear fenders though!! I seriously need a body for the West Coast Large Scale Nationals but as stated above, we have to start the races with a truck body including front/rear fenders. If you think you can get some rear fenders made, I'm in.

Thanks and love having another option out there. :)

My only concern is gettin a lot more crap inside the chassis with it being so open. The dust is okay, but the muds a real pain in the ass to get off, without removing the motor and radio tray and giving it a good hose job.

I'd probably run one at the Nationals too if it had rear fenders.

Who cares? If it works, its better than throwing money in a trash can, which is what you're doing if you think the stock body will hold up better.

Can we get some real life photos of someone trying to take off the gas cap or reaching in to set the choke.
Its real hard to see how accessible or un-accessible the inside of the rig is with a hand to do the stuff that needs to be done with the body on.
