|  Turtle Racing V1 Pull Start Not Engaging? We have found an issue with the Alum pull start pawl that can affect engagement. This also applies to using the Alum Pawl in stock Pull starts. You will need to do this ONLY if your pawl is not engaging, if your pawl is engaging there is no need to do this. It is a very simple fix and I even did it with my wifes Nail File to show how easy it is. 1st-Remove Screw inside housing  2nd- remove washers, spring and pawl  3rd-Locate nubs on the pawl  4th-Gently file the tops of the nubs, take off a little and test  Filed  5th-Reassemble, make sure that the square on washer lines up with stud, install screw.  Install and Test the starter on the motor, if the pawl doesn't engage, repeat proceedure. |
