Default Axis Rc stand review

I did this write up on another forum so I thought I would also post it here as I think this is a great work stand and a seriously great quality tool.

I just received my new Axis RC Baja stand and all I can say is what a peice of workmanship

Everything fits together beautifully and the powder-coating is excellent.

The clamp for the chassis is a real positive grip and allows you to remove or install the chassis bolts whilst in position.

The clamp and tool tray rotates through 360 degrees with locking holes every 45 degrees.

The machined stainless centre shaft is a real solid and nice peice with a machined grove running right up it for raising and lowering.

The legs are a work of art on their own.

The polished aluminium space style legs are machined lovely with superior quality fasteners.

All the locking pins are excellent quality the bottle opener is a nice little touch.

As a work stand it feels extremely well balanced and sturdy something I will appreciate in the field.

My days of balancing the Baja on a toolbox or over my knee are gone

The stand folds away and an eye bolt for hanging is included.

Just waiting now for the Losi adapter which is being released imminently.

At $350 I know a lot of people will be put off

This is a really serious and nice tool for those who appreciate it

I for one have tried the keyboard stands and had my share of falls with them

I love to work on the Baja and build so for me I personally don,t mind spending the cash.

I like this stand a lot.
I dont have one but have seen and used them on several occasions.
For a free standing "Stand Up" stand they are nice.

The team fasteddy Losi 5ive stand top fits on them perfectly if you want to use it with you Losi 5ive.

I've always liked that stand but the price is to much for me to bite off for a stand.

The FastEddy 5ive stand top works on the Axis stand. It's how I roll.

Slow your roll son, cause its how I roll as well.

The Axis stand makes it so easy to work on the Losi including taking the motor out without having to turn the truck on its side to get to the motor screws. I just tuck the team fasteddy stand corner between the front right a-arm and link to hold the truck in the right place to easily access the motor screws from the bottom.

Badger post a pic of how you have your truck on the team fasteddy stand that allows you to get to the engine screws.

Kooldeal heres a where the hole has to be drilled in the front. It will stay without the bolts but this makes it totally secure.
