Darrouzett is quite a long ways north of San Antonio, they're only 4 or 5 miles south of the Oklahoma panhandle. That puts them right at about a 600 mile drive from San Antonio. I don't know how many of the guys would be able to drive that far for a race, but we can ask all the guys who show up for Saturday's race. The best thing about racing in Darrouzett (other than the race it's self) are the cheep motels just over 10 miles down the road, prices range from $30 to $45 a night. I usually stay 2 nights, just because it's cheeper than I usually pay for one night.

I'm from rockwall, tx, about 10 minutes from dallas. haven't been on here for a year cuz my baja sat broken in my garage but today i finally got the parts and the will to fix it, now it's done! Can't wait 'til tomorrow to fire it up again!

Well it turns out the car isn't ready. I can't seem to get the fuel lines routed in a way so that they don't get in the way of the air filter. I know they go underneath bit I can't for the life of me seem to get it correct. Does anyone know of any hobby shops that know how and are willing to work on bajas? So far I have yet to see one! Really pisses me off. It'd be great if someone was willing to help me. Then after we fixed it we could fire it up and race.

false alarm! after not running my baja for a year i have now completely repaired it! one of the fuel lines was very hard due to oil and fuel running through it so it made it impossible to put the air filter back on, so i went and bought a new one at o'reilley's auto parts for $1.40(sweet). so now, problem solved. once this crappy weather clears up it'll be great to run it.
