Default Sneek Peek Team FastEddy Pinion Wrench for the Losi 5ive

Tightening your pinion bolt on the Losi can be tricky trying to hold it with pliers or a vice to get enough torque make sure it wont come out.

team fasteddy developed a "Pinion Wrench" to help guarantee you get the job done properly.

Just got back from the fab shop.
As usual they are running late.
The wrenches are still in the tumbler getting the sharp edges knocked off and giving it a brushed look finish.
Ill pick them up tomorrow on my way to RCX.

I snagged one out of the tumbler to bring home and show you. Its not all pretty but you can see what it looks like.
Made of 1/8 inch Stainless Steel it has "Heft" to it. You know your holding a tool in your hand.
The first ones had a straight handle but it wasnt comfortable using it so we put a radius on the handle so it feels natural.
Includes both an 18T and a 19T.

We will release them to the distributors late next week.

Any chance of one for the 20T pinion, I don't need one but I thought I get in first and start the ball rolling, how about a 17T also, I may actually really want one lol.
A big thankyou for this tool, I have been using a pushbike spanner and am fed up with trapping fingers and bashing knuckles.

I did the 2 most common pinions first.
As others come out I will make a wrench for them as well.

Shock stands... Its going to be a while. As soon as I go into a new production run, it will include the proper size hole for the Losi shocks.
What most people are doing is enlarging the holes. Just need a good barrel sanding tip for your drill. You can do it with a dremmel but it takes forever. A high speed drill or a

A step-up bit works the best if you have one. If not, they can be expensive.
