Default Atomik MM450 1/4 scale dirt bike

I just picked one of these up after hearing about them on the other forum...but apparently I'm not welcome there anymore, so I thought I'd start a thread here to continue the discussion. This thing is awesome!!!!!!!! I've had mine almost a week now and I've had to play with it every day. Here's a shot of it with my 5ive to give it some scale, it was bigger than I expected.

I know some other people were getting one...how's everybody liking theirs?

AWESOME! 1/5 scale Motos are a blast. I have an old school Ricky Carmichael bike that I modded years ago. The new ones are far better.

Sooner or later I will upgrade to one of the newer models. I miss two wheelin it.

Just the stock 4200kv one for now...probably get an MMP with a castle 4 pole when I get some cash. I love the programmability of the Mamba Max Pro ESC's, with the CHEAT settings it's as good as having a two speed.

Mine arrives tomorrow! I have an older version ( non e-gyro ) and I'm going to use it for spare parts. The new version is much more stable. Can't wait!

What are your average runtime with this, and have you thrown in a 3cell yet ?

Average runtime with a 3300 (what's included plus a couple I had) has been about 20 minutes. It looks like a 5000 mah should fit fine. As far as 3s goes, the gyro esc won't handle it so until it dies and gets replaced its 2s only...but 2s is plenty fast to start.

Even though I have an AR Racing dirt bike, I really want one of these! I love how the front shocks are oil filled.

I can't wait to get out to the 101 track with this thing. The more I play with it the more impressed I am, the handling and controllabilaty are amazing.

Swapped in a Castle 5700kv 4 pole motor a buddy had laying around last night, with a 9 tooth pinion. Initial testing in the street was satisfactory , gonna run it on the dirt today and see if it's too crazy.

5700kv motor is awesome! Got a Mamba Max Pro installed last night...wheelie city Just ordered a pair of 6000mah 2s packs since my runtime is down to about 12 minutes when I'm pushing it. I can't wait until some friends can pick up one and we can really start having some fun.

They're so awesome Badger...I run it stock and 3 2s 60c 6000 mah lipo batteries and i get 20+ minute runs per battery...and it wheelies no problem...Softball fields & recreational parks with rolling bump and humps are the best for shredding
