Boy, those tires/wheels sure look like they might be cross compatible with the Baja and Lois. This might be the competition for the Losi truck.

I wondered how is the suspension system ? If it long and smoot travel system like Baja, I guess W5'll be an alternative for 5ive :)

It looks kinda cool, but I think I prefer the look of the 5ive. If this truck turns out to be durable for bashing (I'm not easy on my toys), then I'd consider it.

I have had a chat with Ian at MMR, they are trying a BZM motor in a MCD V4 chassis as I type this, it looks like it will be an easy mod, due to the flywheel casing being detachable and it's square shape, very little machining will require doing, there is a vague possebilety that the motor may have to be raised slightly, hopefully not, as new motor mounts and some other things will need altering, it then gets more complicated and expensive, but every effort is being made to not go down this route, watch this space.
One of our continental bretheren has fitted one into a Race Runner already but information is sketchy at the best, hopefully more info will follow.
So I am thinking that the Bizetta motor would be nice in the W5 SC truck, I feel a project coming on.

The UK price at Rossmod RC is £599 as an ARTR, slightly better I think.
As I always like to fit my own electrics and motor, I think it is a better deal for the likes of me, as I nearly always end up with spare motors and servos and always end up with spare radio sets, as I always fit Spektrum receivers and mostly also use their telmmetry, it works out expensive for me with RTR's.
I wish that more manufacturers did as Losi have done and give you an option, ok there is a lot of you out there who dont like Spektrum, and think it a waste to have to remove the receiver, this is still cheaper than a complete set to disgard.
But by the time most of us graduated to large scale, we have our favourite radio systems, and also spare receivers from other projects that have been sold on.
never sell my receivers and telemetry sensors, as I transfer them to my latest toy.
Sorry I digress, with a decent radio set, a battery, killswitch (a must, I never run them without) and three largescale servos, I would spend around £1k maximum inclusive of the RC vehicles price, so in the RTR market I would spend around the same amount, and no new gear to remove and clutter up the mancave, I generally manage to sell very cheaply usually, or give it away if I know of someone just starting up and would benefit from such a gift.Anyway thats my opinion.
