Default Bought a mcd rrv4

I unterstand the rrv5 is coming out but I always wanted a rrv4...I tried to sell it from buyer remorse and realization of parts cost ugh...but after all the low ball offers I am keeping her.....she is pretty. Oh...and the price was AWESOME..local brother hooked me up.

Anyway

What is my recourse?

Make her a w5, x4, or keep her a v4?

I love offroad racing and California has some awesome tracks...hmm..

I have to have a competetive buggy and I need reliabilty. ..so thr build begins. .late ...but not out.

I am worried about the shocks most of all. I have the comp. Just really hope I didnt make a mistake with her..she is pretty.

Any suggestions are appreciated as far as keping her current and avoiding being obsolete

Thanks fellas

every body's a little different on taking care of their cars . I had an MCD RR4 comp and loved it . its a good car . had people tell me I needed to buy this and that to make it better . the only things you need are like some drive pins , some out drive cups , some pull rope , starter paw , keep some bearings on hand . just some basic stuff to keep you going . I would just leave it a buggy . the buggy body helps seal the car up good to . but its all up to you and what you like and want . the only thing I did not like about the car . when the front lower ball joints went bad you had to buy the hole lower A-arms . the shocks on the car are good to . never had any trouble with then . a basic 26cc or bigger cc with a pipe and the car is fun to drive . mine weighted 29lbs . had a side mount cpi pipe on it with a 26cc engine . .
