If I had to guess, the newest ones will do maybe 15-20mph.

In case anyone reading/referencing this thread as it applies to the carb maintenance procedures found in it, I'd like to amend it with regard to the use of nail polish for sealing the welch plug. Apparently, ethanol found in most pump gas will eat away the nail polish and cause problems. I'll post a new video I've recently found which clarifies this point along with other useful information provided by Walbro. The link will be in a new thread, Carb Maintenance Video.

How do I connect/disconnect the pinion coupler so I can swap drive shafts? Any guidance out there? Probably wrong thread. Apologies.

Been a while since I've bothered to post up in this thread, but...

Getting my SCTE race-ready for some indoor racing.

Decided to use some of those Axis RC M4 inserts in the bottom of the transmission cases. Perfect fit.

Looks fast n shiny. Just need to mount up some racing wheels. These Badlands won't cut it for hard packed clay. AKA Typo's are the way to go.

Painted up a Losi buggy (OCBaja) conversion for a buddy. Not perfect, but looks cool. Polish pride theme.

Shouldnt it be the other way around?

Unless you meant slow on the take off, or you meant no torque.

I see all the bling and how that money pit keeps on adding up, but I checked your channel and dont see if such upgrades do pay off...??

Any new videos?, the last one posted on YT was 3 yrs ago.

The 18T pinion would add more torque to help compensate for the larger diameter of the MT wheels. This would help in faster acceleration. I've learned there's good bling and bad bling. You just need to learn what works and what doesn't. The aluminum a-arms didn't work and I've gone back to stock turnbuckles for weight. Since the time I was posting pics/videos of my upgrades, I've gotten the racing bug. I haven't posted much on my thread recently.

Exclamation Re: PegLeg's House of Fun and Frustration

Fast forward a couple years... I've still been in the hobby and 1/5 scale racing. Also started racing some indoor carpet off-road electric and on-road electric. Having a blast, as always. Hope everyone is doing well.
