Wow, not that's pretty slick John!! Thanks for posting up and tomorrow I'll be taking my Losi out to a BMX track first thing in the AM. Out here, it's really dry and dusty so I'm going to run it as is but I'm guessing I'll be getting a lost of dust in a lot of parts. So, if the radio box is one of them, I'll going to follow your suggestion, for sure!


Also wanted to let you guys know that I finally ran the 5-ive out on the side of my house which is an open lot. The pipe is LOUD but I like it! It's not a rear dom on the bottom end but it picks up just about perfect for a track. And the top end is nice! I'm really happy with this motor and pipe right now. I'll take some video tomorrow and if I get a chance to process it, I'll post up.

Thanks John! I have to ask man, is it running like when you had the pipe or does the pipe seem to fit my OBR 30.5 Losi Full mod better?

So, here's the only down fall running at an old BMX track without water on site....











Nasty fine powder on everything!! :no: Most of it comes off with a little 125 PSI air but, still need to take her down and clean er' up. Removed the radio box and engine, hosed off, some Simply Green, hosed off again and a coat of WD-40!!!











Getting some goodies for the engine and then she'll be back in and ready to go again.

Thayt BMX track reminds me of the days when I races BMX - pretty cool place to run! Just curious are you running the DT1 filter? We have seen several fail in very dusty condtions like this place. I took mine off after a day of racing at Irvine lake track and I had very fine grit in my Velocity stack - yes the filter was oiled! I had to re build my TS reed motor!

I'm really glad I found that BMX track... My daughter races BMX off base as this track isn't maintained anymore. but that's good for Dad... But before I found this, taking my daughter out was cool except I kept on wanting to bring my Baja and run it too. Of course, the track owners weren't going to let it happen as we all know a 1/5th scale would destroy the track. Anyway, now I have my own to play on.

Nope, no DT-1 filters yet. :( I know, it's pretty scaring but I do have 2 full sets in my ddm cart waiting till the 15th when I can place the order. So far so good though as I was only out there for about 20 miutes worth of running and that was it. So, I'll be taking the filters off, cleaning, re-oiling. I get paid Friday so I won't have the DT-1s till next week but, I'm not able to run this weekend so I'm good....

My truck ran about the same. Its a high end pipe. I f you get the FS pipe youll notice it pulls hard down low and high. Theres no wind up all torque.

Nice to see you keep it clean. I do the same thing. I cant stand looking at my dirty truck in the garage. Its an OCD thing I guess. im a neat freak. You can eat off the floor in my garage.

So, I won the ddm Billet Fan cover last week and got on Monday. Installed it yesterday so I wanted to post up some shots.

that is one nice track to be riding on and I'm jealous. we don't have anything like that Michigan. truck seems like its riding really nice.
