Default Quick fix - exhaust mess w/stock muffler

Cut piece of heater hose, curved or S curved works best for this type of "top exit".
I made a costum tip that snaps onto a Baja A-arm part but you coud just use te hose.
Attach to cage or body.

Doesn't affect power of stock can.

Keeps inside of body clean.

Nice. I plan on doing something similar with a piece of silicone hose I bought before I got a tuned pipe on the baja.

Sweet!!!
I can wait to get all the dust, dirt, rocks and whatnot into my exhaust and sucked up into my engine........
The side plate will last about 5 minutes.

IMO Epic Fail..... Sorry, calling it as I see it.

I think its more about expectations.
Lunatic knows better then this, he designs pipes for god sake. To have snorkel pointed strait up in the air with a direct path DOWN into the pipe is just ludicrous. Im sure hoping I missed something here and he posted this as a joke.

2nd, The5ive will roll and land on its wheels a majority of the time, its like a cat and lands on its feet. The side panels will stop the roll, flat out stop it. Look how it sticks up over the top of the cab.

3rd, look at the placement of the hose holder. First roll over and it flexes, it will crack the roll cage.

Need I go on,
Go drive it..... Its never even had the tires on the ground, get a feel for it THEN start to do some mods.

I'm annoyed with the mess inside the body at breakin, but it's my own fault from putting the body on. Untill a pipe is released that meets my standards I will not fiddle with it and just run the stock can.

As much as I love my Rabid Pipe for my 5SC, I am a bit surprised that a viable Lunatik product is not being presented to the LOSI 5IVE Community.....

Grab a new piece of tubing and cut and mount it so it exits downward behind the side guard similar to how the Bartolone pipe does. Just need to secure it to the hole that is already on the top of the side guard and this becomes a great idea. That's my 2 cents.

This thread is just a small example of how this forum can and maybe will become just as stupid as the others. People can't just leave things alone, they need to be FAR on one side or the other, VERY NEGATIVE or OVERLY POSITIVE. Personality conflicts strike and business reputations are changed because of them.

This is NOT a product for sale, it does not claim to do one thing or another. Nor does it make claims to be for all users. It's a simple modification that a large portion of people could consider and NEVER have any negative effects from. PERIOD. Yes I believe all R/C's belong on their hood once and a while but there are a large amount of people who's trucks underside will never see the sky and that's perfectly fine and I am not high and mighty enough to tell anyone otherwise.

Offering up an alternative like robmob did is a PERFECT example of what a GOOD forum is about. Someone seeing an effort put forth on a tip yet did not feel it fit his needs and offered up an alternative based on the original idea. THAT IS WHAT ITS ABOUT.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider keeping this a fun and positive forum and leave your bias and past forum history to yourself. Or just make it like the others...its your forum I guess. But if you all get to post your thoughts so do I.....

I hope tgn has met your expectations.

It pains me to see you say "and maybe will become just as stupid as the others", I know (hope) that it wasn't directed at the way I run my sites.

I will do everything I can to prevent that from happening but unfortunately I think it's largely up to the vendors to check their attitudes at the door and to now follow in the same footsteps of what was done in the past.
