| ![]() This is a machined Delrin battery box lid that's taller than the factory lid. It's totally sealed up. I wanted it to have no openings, to keep out dirt and water. You can easily drill holes in the sides or top to add lights, power switch, or whatever you want. Delrin costs as much as aluminum, so these are kinda pricey to machine. Retail would be around $50 If there is enough interest, in 4-6 months I can have them injection molded, which would make them a lot cheaper, around $20, but I'd have to be able to sell at least 1000 of them to pay for the cost of the injection mold. Who would be interested? ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Killer RC; 08-08-2014 at 11:34 PM. |

| ![]() The caption read's killer-rc extended lid for HPI Baja battery box, but in the picture it show's the bottom also, will this become available, as have at present gone over to Team FastEddy battery box eliminators steering and throttle/brake servo mount's to combat any flex on the steering and thr/br servo mounting point's. just had another look and realised that the part that the battery is sitting in is the lid upside down so there are two lids not a lid and base. Thats what you get for being on line and not asleep as it is four twenty am here in the UK, another side effect from the strokes, even more unable to sleep than what my back problem does. | ![]() Is that wider chassis available somewhere? Looking into building a twin Baja this winter but I'm not a fan of no body and that chassis looks like it has plenty of room for that rcmk twin. |

| ![]() It's not a wider chassis. That pic is the HPI Baja 5SC, which has plastic skirts and mounts for the truck body. |
