Default New MCD Rally X4

Ordered one yesterday, and it should be here tomorrow. I'll be grabbing some 5755mg servos Saturday as well. I'm curious as to what I should expect.

I'm fairly familiar with FG touring cars, but not with MCD. Most of what I've read on MCD says they are solid all around.

I've noticed a few people having issues with shock shafts, and the rear lower arms are too flexible. Besides that is there anything else I should expect?

Yeah I think I read every thread in that forum. I noticed it doesn't have a ton of action, so I figured I would ask to see if there has been any other issues.

darksoul has replacement rear arms which solve the rear arms issue. So far thats the only issue I am aware of.

I was looking at those. largescalerc is out right now though. I'll wait until I obliterate one to replace them.

Do you know if they make fg wheel adaptors? Or any company that makes bodies that may work?

darksoul have got the rear lower arms covered with a nice set of billet alloy arms, as far as the shocks go to Innovative-RC they have got the answer, heavy duty shocks, the HPI are bullet proof so the MCD will be as good.

I was looking at those arms but they were out of stock at largescalerc.

Any ideas on bodies or adapters for fg wheels? I've still got a few sets of FG wheels

I guess these body/tire questions are taboo. There are a ton of questions out there about it, but no one seems to answer them.
