The part number for the original 5T was 10620, it came with a 27 band FM radio and different servos.

I believe this is an old advertisement. They switched to 2.4ghz right before switching the T over to the SC.

RC Cars, Remote Controlled Cars by HPI Racing

They show it in the new line up and the 10621 (1620 in North America) in the discontinued with different servos and radio.

I emailed HPI to find out what the deal is with this. I do know their site was hacked and crashed last weekend. I don't know if this is new info or old. I will update as soon as I hear back from them.

That looks like an old part number as well although in Europe they show it in their current line up and it would appear many EU shops still list it. I wonder if it is still available over there?

I only know of one, as you stated they do still advertise it in some of the model shops but either on back order, shadow stock or special order.
Abbot's have one they bought to be a project but it never happened, up for grab's with a brand new clear shell £799 plus p&p.

105231 is the stock number for the CURRENT Baja SC.
They went with their SFL-11mg servo sometime back and changed the part number, they also went to the 2.4 at the same time rather then an analog radio.
At the same time they also included several running changes in the RTR.
If memory serves me right this is also when they came out with the SC SS kit. New rear hub design and new front hub design. I could be wrong on this. Cant remember if those were included in the original SC or not. (Im getting old)

::HPI RACING Original SC::
::HPI RACING:: - Baja 5SC RTR (New)

SO the proper answer to the question is FACT

I am confused of the question. If you are wondering if they made the baja with the 27band fm radio then yes I still have the very original that came out. I switched out the receiver but everything else is stock, even the beat to crap body. Not sure of the part number .
