this is my swb sandrail, took out 90mm from length, uses fg marder tanks

hi thanks yes it would, the 90mm is taken out of the front so you use a fg tank,
ive tried an engine in my green one and i would need to make a new rear cage section like saxtoft one for the twin, i think the only problem would be a pipe of some sort

Looking good. I like the shorties to me they look much more scale. You should do one of these up to look like the Axial Wraith. Or do a shorty version of one of Bartolones 4x4's Baja Crawler?

This is pretty cool, I like the look of it being short. Nice bright orange really shows off all the tubing and work done to it. Well done. Cant wait to see it complete and maybe running?

Are you using larger diameter rod,it looks thicker, might be an illussion as it is shorter
,woul'nt mind one of those,what sort of money does one of these run to?.
Is there a bit more tubing to fit at the rear, or is it not going to be as per the longwheelbase version.

hi thanks, the orange one is the same as the green one but with 90mm taken outfrom the front section, it has the same rear section on both, 10mm od tube with 1mm wall thickness,

weighed the chassis today with the ally skid fitted and it was 8.3 LBS or 3.7 KGs
