![]() I'm new to the 1/5 scale RCs and have a XCR-1000 setup but, would like someone who has been in the hobby a while to go over my tx setup end points and server. I'm in the College Park area of GA. If anyone is close and willing to assist, please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

![]() It's not that hard just set car up on block And make sure the servo is centered and the wheels are pointed straight and turn wheel full left and adjust till it hits the steering stop one point at a time on transmitter now the same to the right And do the same thing for the throttle Only take a finger and push on the kidney that the linkage hooks to at carb You can feel it hit the stop at wide open hold it there And just adjust servo throw till it touches the bead on the servo arm Now for the hard one the brakes On most cars it won't be a large amount of travel I adjust them till the car won't roll or I can't push it with them on Now don't hold them on its on stop and off so the servo doesn't get hot That's it it's not hard and just take your time after all seams right start car and have it up against a wall to help stop it if you did something wrong like servo got reversed after you turned radio off and didn't save the settings Last edited by Nitrocat; 02-22-2016 at 02:30 AM.

![]() Thanks my friend. I did some research and looked at some videos on youtube. The directions I went by for my setup is exactly what you said. There was a great series on the Losi 5ive setup by team fast eddy. The short story, I did get her setup. It still needs some adjustments but, I did get a tank and a half in today. Slow going but, fun after a killer week. One question you may be able to answer. When I do turn the steering and the wheels center back there is a hum for the servo at neutral. If I lift the fron slight off the ground it stops. Can this be correct with the servo saver or should I go back and may more adjustments in the trim/subtrim? Once again, thanks for the reply Nitrocat!
