I wouldn't buy it as it is the same platform as there other buggy. If you looking for a sc there are other proven brands. It should be out by April. Cross your finger's. largescale is a big money pit.

For me I wanted 4 wheel drive and a truck with options later for reverse and remote start and a telemetry radio. I choose Rovanrc.com lt305 truck. It was 1/2 the price of a Losi 5t and it had a bigger motor. Parts were interchangeable with Losi. So price played a big part in my choice. I'm NOT a fan of LOSI or Spectrum so it was a clear choice for me. You have to decide what type of 5 scale you want and options available and what you plan to do with it?

That's it ! I'm going vekta 5 I can't believe the craftsmanship on that thing , everything is way over built , I'm thinking clutch bells are a frequent fix , I can't wait to wear out a clutch , wow , what a rig !!!!! Pretty heavy , lot of traction I'm thinking , more stress on the clutch ,,, O M. F. G. !!!! CAN ( NOT ! ) WAIT !

The rear drive line is weak . Especially the u-joints. The plastic rod ends don't last long and there isn't much after market accessories. No reverse or electric start option. It's not true 4 x 4. Best time to buy one is winter. Now isn't the best. Best price found:https://www.ebay.com/itm/KV7701-VEKT...QAAOSwY3daWLgm or: http://www.davesmotors.com/Kraken-Ve...ne-KV7702.html You will still new a radio and receiver.

I talked to Dave's , free shipping , and a lot of hop ups r comeing he says , I just like the metal work on this thing , I guess I'll go with the futaba transmitter , I'm going to go with the middle of the road receiver , not that this will save my marriage I sold the boat , so I'm moving along. When I get things going , I want to get to one of these race gigs I read about , I'm not a pro racer but I want to see one of those get togethers this summer , thank u for your info , this is a learning process for me so thank you much !

I spose that these things are just like all other things in life , you don't get all perfections in one box , no matter what we buy there's a better way somewhere else , so we buy and modify !

Buying a futaba won't save you money if you want telemetry $$$$$$$$$. The 4pv-4 is mid priced @ $280. Free shipping is standard everywhere. I could show you how to save $250 or more....... BUT??????

You dont have to spend more han 109.00 on a radio wih 4 channels and telemetry, look into the futaba 3pv excellent radio and does more than we need it to with these cars, we dont need much like helis or planes. Just something to look i to. I gkt one muself and comes with telemetry built in already to see rx voltage

FYI the Futaba 3pv @ 109.99 doesn't have telemetry and it comes with a 3 channel RX. SO that makes you statement false!!! https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXFYTW&P=ML
This one offers only rx voltage only @ 129.99 ????
https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXFYTV&P=ML
Telemetry is extra with any futaba radios that use it. $$$$$$$$$$ Mid price futaba radio is what Relic wanted.
https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXGCUE&P=ML
The 4pls is the cheapest futaba radio @ 180 with Telemetry. sensors are extra. $$$$$$$. Hitec lynx 4s with proton is the only radio with built in telemetry rx voltage and GPS.

Use Quality syntetic oil. Only mix 32:1. You will have problems with 25:1 because of location.
