Finally checked out the new tires and installed the on my off road truck. They look good and weigh 1/2 lbs. each less than the tires I am using now. So the new weight of my truck is 34 lbs. I was worried about the tire weight as 4 ply tires are heavier. but not these.

Finished several project this spring as the weather permitted. I made some rc 10gt fuel inlet for the fuel tanks, I had to make another juggernaut 2 linkage support for the back axle as I broke the plastic mounts again, I wasn't going to buy a new axle set just to keep on breaking the stock link mounts. And I finally made the new improved rc 10t Duratrax chassis. I made it thicker and I improved the suspension and gearing options. Now I'm back to working on my 1/5 full chassis frame to finished this year. Then I can start working on the new axle improvements.

I just finished machining the new upper chassis for my 1/5 monster truck and put it together for inspection. All that is left is some bending and I will be making a fixture to do that.

Worked on the off road truck front suspension.Tighten it up and moved the wheels in and mounted smaller tires on. Relocated the lower shock mounts on top of the a arms. Looks good now. I like the smaller tires. shaved 2 lbs. off total weight.

Came across this from Primal rc https://www.primalrc.com/raminator-monster-truck/ @ 80 lbs my truck is still the lightest 1/5 MT on the planet @ 55 lbs.

Ordered some new larger size servos Rated @60 kg @ 6 volts $28 each. One should be fine for the off road truck and 2 for the mt truck. I will have to make a new servo plate for the larger servos. Will have to see how well these compare to the Tone 050. There is only one more servo to try @65 kg @ 6 volts $55 each. After that 7.4 volts is 75 kg. My receivers won't handle that much power. Only the tone 050 can run that much power separate.

Worked on the mt truck steering geometry./ I improve the output power 100%. Same design as before with bell crank but move it out and made new steering arms. Now I block the wheel side ways and the the truck moves. I will try less voltage to see what happens.

Finished the dual servo tray for the Hitec 5605 servos. The servo's are working good. I have good power and holding power. Making some minor adjustments. Only down side I see is the rack system decreases steering angle. I'm looking into that problem. On my off road truck I have the same system and I get more steering. ???? So I'm waiting for the servo's I ordered to arrive.

After further testing I replace the steering arms back to stock ones and the steering improved close to the bell crank system. More testing with driving will finalize my decision. I will be installing the new servo's I ordered today and test them.
