| ![]() Any one got these? I was wondering how exactly they work, it looks like the servo is built into the unit. But do they come apart so you could use your own servo or unmount the master cylinders? What i am after doing is trying to moddify or remount them to fit a buggy style FG rather than a monster/Pro Four-wheel drive hydraulic brake system 4WD 2WD1/5 HPI FG big monster | eBay |

| ![]() well for one thing hydraulic brakes are not no better than the brakes they replace. just alot of unessesary, extra money, time, set up. save yor cash and find something bettter to use it on. |

| ![]() I've had a set of hydro brakes on a touring car. They are a cool novelty but I never could get them tweaked in properly, always seemed the brakes would grab and lock the wheels, not slow them. However they are far easier to setup than cable brakes, just don't forget to take the time to bleed the system properly or you will hate every thing about them. |

| ![]() I do not know what make they are but judging by the square drive in the rotor's they are for either FG, Smartech, FTX, MCD EVO1/2/3, or any that have the square drive. I run an FG set on one of my HPI 5B's, but you will need to buy the King Cobra adapter kit, this consist's of two disc's and adapter's for front of the HPI Baja's I do not think you can get rear adapter's or you could not when I fitted mine some three years ago the kit was on tgn's mystery mark down's a little while ago for around $30.00. It only work's out cheap if you can get the FG kit's cheap which when the HPI RTR first came out they were as everyone was buying the HPI Baja and selling their FG's and all their spare's. |
