I am pleased to say the FG was great during Power Jam.I had a servo bite the dust and take me out early, but still managed a 4th place finish. The only damage the car sustained was a broken shock end. At $2.85 for 2 of them I would say it was a good weekend at the track!

At first it was pushing, but moving the turnbuckles up on the steering knuckles did wonders. I had just gotten news of my mom being in ICU a few minutes before my main, so I was having a hard time on the track. I was cutting my corners to soon and just having trouble concentrating. But the car was there, it was the driver that was struggling. About the time I calmed down and started finding my groove, the servo went South. Had the servo held out I think I would have finished a lot better. But that is racing.... I do want to say the DS mill was a perfect match for that car. It accelerates like an electric buggy. Now that Power Jam is behind us, I look forward to just bashing it a bit. It is a very fun car.

My mom is doing better. She burned herself trying to sneak a cigarette while wearing oxygen. I guess she didn't have the oxygen on her face but laying on her shoulder. It is bad, but it could have been much worse. Last edited by highwaystar; 06-30-2011 at 08:06 AM.

For someone on this side of the pond, I would say go for the MCD. LSRC has the parts you need to keep going. It can be difficult to get FG parts sometimes. That being said, I would take another FG in a second. The wife is going to be getting a monster truck soon. We may do the 4WD conversion on it.
