I have seen the OBR in plenty of Baja's, but with the weight and gearing of the Losi I am a bit concerned with power. Would the SKOPOD 62 or BZM 50 be too much motor for racing at the club level? It seems like my receiver is shutting down randomly during runs. I had it take off on me yesterday and slam into my kids playset. Don't worry, the playset only suffered minor injuries. And yes, I'm an idiot and not running the Killer Bee Kill Switch...YET! I just replaced the receiver with a new one last summer. Never got it wet or anything it just quits working randomly for about 60+ seconds and then comes back on...then shuts off again. Battery is fairly new and freshly charged. Anyone else experience something like this? When I hit WOT the engine starts to bog down really bad even if I'm rolling, it also gives me the same result if I punch it off the line. It occasionally even kills the motor. I assume my high speed needle is too rich does this seem correct? I get a good bit of oil come from the can when I punch it.

The motor is new and has about 2 tanks through it for a mild break in. Now that I'm done I can't get the throttle right. Just ask any information you want about the setup I've got and I'll answer.

I am considering dropping the money for a Zenoah, I never remembered having any tuning issues with my older ones. My first CY I had in this was a nightmare to tune too. Would it be worth getting the g270? I don't think it would be any more powerful but perhaps more reliable.

Really any tips to help. Maybe some baselines to start with, maybe I'm so far gone with the tuning I need to start over.
