Default Fail Safe/Kill Switch Confusion

Sorry I can't do a search from my i-phone for some reason but I'm confused about the built in fail safes on radios and kill switchs. I looked at the killer bee switch which I think is awesome but read and saw a vid in which it somewhere says that the kill switch won't work with receivers/radios with built in fail safes. I understand that both work different from one another in that the kill switch shuts off the engine in case of certain glitchs as well as a fail safe applying the brakesand which ever way it's steered. How would it install and work if you got a radio with fail safe cause I know I've seen it hooked up with speks and futaba. Does the fail safe still work or does the kill switch by pass it some how. Do you just set the fail safe to a nuetral (finger off trigger & steering) position. Sorry for this long winded thread I'm just confused and want to understand. Thanks, Jamie.

Thanks have gone to the killer rc site. I'm in no rush a the moment so when the time comes and I have a kill switch I'll figure it out or as for help then. Looks easy enough to install, just plug & play. Was just wondering if the fail safe still works with the kill switch cause they're two different systems , 1 stops the bajas motion and the other 1 shuts off the engine.

The failsafe doesn't really matter. On Spektrums you need to make sure that your failsafe is set correctly so that it doesn't override a v1 Killer Bee, but other than that it doesn't really affect the kill switch. Check this too. http://www.killerrc.com/faq/faq.php
