Theres a new steering system that could be out soon. I.R.P. announced a new complete steering system. I should have one to start testing out in my hooters baja in the next couple weeks. Of course i ll be putting it thru its paces bashing around, as well as in a track/race setting to see how things hold up. if all is good, and no modifications are needed, Buddy should be starting up production soon afterwards.

but like any new item, it needs to be thuroughly tested in a few settings before its produced and sold.

Are you sure that you used the Hitec 5755 and not the 5745 ? The 45 is a weaker servo. The 55 is meant to be an exact replacement for the rhino, because it's no longer being manufactured.

I can't wait to see if that style of servo saver can hold up.

My old T-Maxx went through several savers like them before I finally upgraded to the Proline kit. I wasn't using Traxxas stockers either. I was using Kimbrough heavy duty.
