A few steps closer. Met with the owners twice this week and we are good to go. Bringing them a layout drawing on Tues. Sounds like they will start right away. Layout just like Fear Farm for the Challenge. Just practice, no timing. Driver stand will be a big mound of dirt. No pipes but lanes will have small berms to identify lanes. If we use it there will be improvements. If we don't it will just go away. There will be a small fee to cover tractor work and watering, the balance used for improvements. Stay tuned for updates and pictures. Please don't go there with questions until it's built. Thanks

Track is in..Its a little rough yet..More finish work on a couple of the bigger jumps (table and step up). Also dirt for the drivers stand needs finishing..Lastly, trying to decide on inexpensive lane markers that withstand 1/5 scale..Thinking of 4 inch hard drain pipe cut into 4 inch sections and spiked in place every 5 feet..There is lots of room in between lanes so not looking for a barrier, just lane identification..Thoughts?

If you could get some old used tires for free or cheap and cut them in to 4-8 pieces paint them red or yellow and just stake them in the ground. Cheap, easy, mobile easy to see and should stand up to 1/5 or you maybe you could find some small tires and just use those. I know here there are a handful of places that throw away old tires or the junkyards will give away old tires or spares, you just have to go get them.
