Chirp Chirp Chirp......... Not even any good drama.... Shame on you guys!!! Finally got a few minutes to dust off the Baja after several years and it looks like the industry dried up completely.

I'm around as well. Have to admit I haven't been here in a while. 1/5 scale off road racing is still going strong in the Midwest though. The Monon track is no more, but Horizon has built a very nice track next to Eli Field in Monticello, IL. This is largely thanks to Lee Morrison. We just had our 2nd annual Dirt Blast event this past weekend and it was a great success. There will be another 1/5 scale event at the same facility in September. Earlier this summer, the gang at Cheese City Xtreme R/C & Discount America Hobby & Motorsports had their annual Midwest Nationals in Monroe, WI. That event was mostly rained out, but they will be hosting some more 1/5 scale races later this Summer. I'll be attending the Canadian 1/5 scale Nationals August 2nd-5th in Walton, ONT--best track and probably the biggest 1/5 scale event in North America. Matt Olson will be there among other top drivers from the US and Canada. SoCal has a couple new tracks being built from what I hear. Chris Bartolone is very much involved in the bigger of the two--should be some more news coming later this year. Anyone reading this (who is not on FB) who wants more race info can contact me (PM) through this forum. Hope everyone is doing well!
