Mobile Alabama here. Do most of my racing at Riverside Raceway in Petal, Mississippi (near Hattiesburg, Mississippi).

Gossamer, good to here from someone. Check out LAThunderhobbies.com for info on dirt oval for the Baja. Racing is to start back up in Sep; track is open for practice every day (310 foot run line). Get a couple of guys together or just yourself and we will have a practice day oval racing --- would need to run tarmacs or Hostile slicks for tires (track rule). Other race rules are listed on their web site - main ones are stock 26 or 23 motor with the 5b black can muffler, listed tires, and EDM body. However, for practice, I would guess that just the tires and muffler would be required. Let me know if you can make it.

Nothing at all here too. I'm from middle Ga so i know the feeling. I've been trying to find a group to bash with forever. If anything starts up down that way let me know.

Cool, I wish more were active in this region, Ga almost has none I myself have to go 15 miles from home to run mine and its just me and its not a large area. It gets boring running alone. :(

Yeah that sucks. Running alone gets old quick. My kids run SC but that's it and they aren't in to that real heavy.

There is a long weekend come isn't there? Bring your wife down to the beach and bring your baja with some paddles. Be a win win. She gets the beach and you get to run with someone

I wish there was a way to get something going. I've been playing with the idea of putting togeather a track up here in Ga where i'm at for 1/10 scale up to 1/5 but i'm worried that no one would come and with the current complaint driven track closing trend I'm not sure if i should tackle it. any ideas?
