July 15th and 29th races

Ok guys come on out for the July 15th and 29th races. The race on the 15th will be the oval 8 track. So gear up because its a fast one.

Then get ready July 29th the short course track. The competition is getting strong out there so if you think you got what it takes come on out. We lovely have you.

I think its $30 and all you need is a transponder. oh ya and just make it up there. Hope to see you out for a great day of racing.

A Transponder is one thing I don't have but I plan on playing at Petaluma and maybe a couple other tracks so I guess I should pick one up.

Scope, you will just have to pay a race fee. You don't have to be a member to race.

That's great news.
Everytime I read the site or something I always see 150 membership fee so I wasn't sure if I would have to pay that before I could race.

If your only going to come up for a race or two we have some to rent. They are around 10 to rent I think. As far as new ones they are about $100.

Try to make the SC track on the 29th for sure! It is bad arse and has a lot of competition.

The rental transponders will not longer be brought to the track. They have been having problems registering on the new timing system... I'm hoping Bill will chime in on this..

I've never ran on a real track so I don't know of I'll even be able to stay on or be fast on a SC track. I do know I will be able to race on the 8 thou.

I'm trying to weasel out of the "family reunion" camping trip at Shasta the weekend of the 29th. It's the wifes family and the key is for me to covertly convince the wife it's not worth the drive to camp for 2 nights at a crappy lake where it's easily going to be over 100 degrees the entire time. Coin toss at this point.

I may swing by on the 15th and watch some 8 action.
