Here at ddm we collaborated with Bruce Bennett, the owner of Stage 8 fasteners to bring a simple and extremely effective product to the RC industry. He has been making locking fasteners for years on things like drag cars, performance street cars, military drones, and more! He is a very cool guy and was thrilled to work with us on this project. HPI Gasoline Savage Octane XL
Although it’s not a Large Scale Vehicle, the Savage 4×4 Octane XL is one of the coolest new RC’s being released in 2013. It will share a lot of the same technical aspects with its bigger Large Scale brothers and will offer super cheap extended run times. Modified RC Losi Center Diff Mount Set
This center diff mount set from Modified RC features extra wide feet on the top and bottom of the uprights, this prevents rocking when the diff mount contacts the clutch housing during extreme chassis flex. Bearing removal is made easy with the use of O-rings in the bearing bores, they allow a nice snug fit without using a press fit on the aluminum bearing bores. Continue reading
ADA Racing +3mm RC Stroker Crank w/ +5mm Long Rod
ADA Racing is now offering a forged +3mm stroker crank with +5mm connecting rod for RC engines. The journals are larger in diameter for added strength and balance, plus taking up more volume in the crankcase for a ‘stuffing’ effect. This will require the use of a base spacer and/or a head kit.
